Changes

It has been a really long time since I last blogged, I guess life has gotten busy and I just haven't made this a priority. Things have been good for the most part. The biggest changes has been saying goodbye to Baba. I have been so fortunate to have a grandma for so long and especially long enough for her to not only meet but get to know Sheridan and Waylon. I am especially happy to have captured some photos of Baba with the kids this Christmas.

My dad has taken this especially hard, I guess it would be hard for anyone to lose a parent, but i am not used to seeing my dad so depressed. This Easter will be hard and Mothers Day I imagine even harder. I hope he knows how much I am sure Baba treasured the times they had together.

We just got back today from Waylon's first "vacation" While it was a quick one (just one night in KC) it was nice to get away. We went up for Hannah's opening at a cafe in Warrensburg, it was really cool to see her work on display and to see the KC crew. The kids, for the most part, were very good. We strolled around the plaza to meet all the bunnies and went to an underwater exhibit at Crown Center (pictures below).

Waylon is cutting his 6th tooth, I can't wait to go to his 1 year appointment to find out how much the big boy weighs. Sheridan's hair is getting so long and she is looking more grown up to me every day. Life is good.

Ahhh...nice and quiet

I have to admit I am quite proud of myself when I caan get both kids to nap at the same time. Doesn't happen very often but it is nice to have an hour (sometimes two if I am really lucky) to myself. The kiddos are doing well, Waylon now has FIVE teeth and is such a monster! He gets into pretty much everything and definately keeps us on our toys. Sheridan is singing songs (including the alphabet) and is starting (very slowly) to enjoy playing with her brother. Oh, my time is up :-) some pics are below...

A Man on the Move

This is the first time Sheridan has done this...so glad I captured it on video while filming our man Waylon on the move!
