A Fabulous First Family Vacation

We have taken a couple of quick trips as a family to Kansas City to visit family, but this was our first official "vacation" as a family. We went to MN to do some shopping and visit my friend Alyssa and her new baby Lydia. The first half of the trip we spent in Edina visiting Mall of America and Ikea and spending some time in our hotel which had an olympic size pool and this fabulous play area for kids. This was Sheridan's first experience in a swimming pool, even though the water was cold she seemed to really enjoy splashing around. We also had some good times in the large inflatable jumping toys. Sheridan was really interested in Lydia, maybe that's a sign we are ready for baby number two?? Some pictures from our fabulous first family vacation are below!

A Bath Balancing Act

How fun is this? Tonight in the bath tub we were playing with tub toys and I put a ring on Sheridan's head, she thought it was the funniest thing. She was actually able to sit still and hold it on her head for about 30 seconds...that's a long time for a one-year old!

Daddy's First Trip to the Zoo!

Jon finally got to take Sheridan to the zoo yesterday! Last season everyone (including Gma, Gpa, Baba, even Uncle Paul) got to take Sheridan to the zoo - except Daddy. It was a rule this year that no one got to go until Jon had his turn. So, with the beautiful weather yesterday we couldn't pass up the opportunity - below are a few pics from the day.
